We’ve had a really enjoyable year playing music with you all and had some really good fun sessions. We’re looking forward to more of the same in 2018 – we may even play a gig or two!
The January sessions will be on the 9th and 23rd.

Christmas Special….12/12
Hi everyone, the final session of 2017 will be a full on Christmas special.
We’ll be playing loads of great tunes (and some average ones) including Winter Wonderland, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Fairytale of New York, White Christmas, Jingle Bell Rock, Rockin around the Christmas Tree, War is Over, that one about a Hippopotamous and yes that one by Slade as well…..

…..will be on the 28th of November. I’ll update you on the set as when I know what it is!
In the meantime, Beth and I will be playing a half hour set of our cello/guitar/vocal duo at the George Evelyn pub in Long Ditton next Tuesday (21st). Feel free to come down and say hello!

One of our number, Anne, is going to miss the next session because she has been invited to Cardiff Castle – there is an exhibition there about her grandfather who played a vital role in World War One!

31st update….
We’ll be paying tribute to Fats Domino with a medley of some of his big hits – Ain’t that a Shame, Blueberry Hill, I’m Walking, and I hear you Knocking.
And then we will be combining the jazzy side of things with Halloween and getting a bit Spooky
Next session is on the…..
……31st! I’m going to try to introduce a couple more swing/jazz/croony tunes. Maybe something like Blue Moon, or something by Frank Sinatra….we shall see!

80’s night
Make sure you all power dress your way down to the Hook Library on the 3rd of October as we will be dipping into the 1980’s. Bring your Rubiks cube, Ray-Bans and hairspray up that perm…
We will be playing tunes by Wham, Culture Club, Proclaimers, The Clash, Dire Straits, Madness, and Bon Jovi amongst others. I have some ideas for a couple of new tunes but feel free to email me any suggestions.
