Hi everyone, we are going to play at the Hare and Hounds in Claygate at 5 30 on Sunday the 7th of July, so please put that in your diaries! We will play through some easy familiar numbers on the 2nd of July to prepare for this.

I haven’t managed to get a lot of info for you as yet regarding the gig on the 5th, but hopefully by Tuesday things will be clearer! Essentially we will be turning up in Surbiton in the daytime on the 5th and knocking out some of the following classics….. You may notice a few with river/sea references, plus I’ve tried to cover all bases for potential weather scenarios. Aside from that there are some easy sing-a-long numbers.

20 2 24 Session

Hi everyone, here is the set for the 20th with two new ones!

Firstly we have ‘Autumn Leaves’ – there are loads of good versions of this but I particularly like this version by Eric Clapton so we will play it in that style….

Secondly, ‘You’ve got a Friend’, the two most famous versions I think are by Carole King and James Taylor

They are mostly fairly straightforward sing-a-long tunes; we will pick the best 8 or 9 for the gig on the 28th.

Please remember if you can’t come to the gig you can still come on Tuesday, it will be pretty much like any other session. Also if you can’t come on Tuesday you are still welcome to play the gig, the more the merrier!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Hi everyone, a quick update before the year ends…..

We will back on the 9th January and are booked fortnightly until March 19th, and the gig at the Brave New World in Surbiton is on Sunday 28th.
